Henrietta (Hen) has had some fantastic years in racing. From 1989-2012 she trained over 700 winners from West Lockinge Farm including;

 

Best Mate-3 Cheltenham Gold Cups 2002-2004 Edredon Bleu-Queen Mother Champion Chase 2000

 

She won many prestigious awards including the Horserace Writers and Photographers National Hunt Trainer of the Year 2002 and the Channel 4 Personality of the Year 2003.

 

Hen's husband Terry Biddlecombe (3 times champion NH jockey) who was an integral part of the training operation died in 2014, but Hen has kept up her enthusiasm and interest in horse racing. She has pre trained and schooled numerous top class horses.

 

On 18th December 2023 she was granted a new license to train.

Fantastic staff Valued new assistant, Brendan Powell, who won the Grand National in 1988 and himself trained over 700 winners, before being Joseph O'Brien's assistant for 5 years.
